RESILIENT & SUSTAINABLE HYDROGEN POWER
WITHSTANDS REMOTE SUB-FREEZING CONDITIONS
The GenCell BOX™ has been specifically designed to meet the requirements of telecom base stations. Designed for maximum reliability and 72+hrs. duration, the BOX is highly resilient to extreme environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, salinity) and facilitates deployment in remote and difficult-to-access locations. Moreover, the zero-emission BOX requires only semi-annual maintenance or servicing.
IDEAL TO POWER CRITICAL EQUIPMENT POSITIONED AT OUTDOORS SITES IN EXTREMELY COLD CONDITIONS

Robust, reliable alkaline fuel cells are weatherproof, needing minimal servicing and maintenance;

Cold Start Mechanism allows fuel cells in sub - zero temperatures to site - idle with NO thermal conditioning or test runs; unit starts up in under an hour using minimal to no battery power

Equipment in shelters can operate while buried under deep snow, while hydrogen supply is stored outdoors;

DESIGNED TO FACILITATE DEPLOYMENT
IN REMOTE AND
DIFFICULT-TO-ACCESS LOCATIONS
UNIQUE COLD START
MECHANISM
- Unique capability to initiate quick “cold start” using hydrogen fuel, independent of the grid or battery.
- In conditions below -20°, the advanced cold start mechanism activates the fuel cell using minimal heating.
- To ensure activation and avoid damage in sub-zero weather, alternative backup power solutions must consume many hours of costly grid or battery power for preheating; the BOX initiates from -20° in under an hour without preheating.
